The logotype of the Korean edition of Reader’s Digest was designed by Kim Jin-pyeong(金眞平, 1949-1998). With a vivid style and contemporary look, the logotype and lettering highlight both the identity of Hangeul and its harmony with the English alphabet. Kim Jin-pyeong(金眞平, 1949-1998), the creator of the logotype of the Korean edition of Reader’s Digest, was a true pioneer in the fledgling field of lettering who helped to elevate the cultural status of Hangeul.
